A passion of mine has always been to travel the world. What I have learned in the past 2-3 years is that life is short. A tragic event happened. It made me realize that there is a lot more to life than working until death. With that being said, each and every year, I vow to travel to at least 2 destinations. I have a lot of catching up to do. I did visit my parent's home country a few years ago and that has ignited my passion to travel the world. Meeting new friends and family, eating the local cuisine, and taking in the sights and events. As the human race, were made to expand our knowledge.
Recently, I started to get into portrait photography. I was fairly new to the game but I was determined to try my best because of what my friend had told me; "You take crap photos." Granted it was on an iPhone but she was furious at how crappy my pictures turned out. I definitely felt the heat, lol. I attended my first workshop and started to observe the model and photographer's actions. Along the way, I made a bunch of great friends and we have started to collaborate on a lot of work. Out of every accomplishment that I have achieved, this is the one that I am most proud of. Growth, networking, relationship, all these have had a huge impact on what I do. To grow as a photographer, to network with models and photographers, and to create everlasting friendship. It is the joy that I/we put on people's faces. That is not something you can do in IT.
